Reusable Hot & Cold Gel Packs – for use at home.

These super duper reusable hot and cold packs can be used for a whole host of ailments following childbirth or generally. They’re made from gel, not beads, so hold their temperature really well. Supplied in a pack of two, with washable sleeves to hold it in place in your underwear, you’ve got one to use and one to chill / freeze/heat.

TO CHILL/FREEZE:

Place in fridge/freezer for a minimum of 1 hour. If freezing, ensure this gel pack is placed underneath your maternity pad or wrapped in fabric. It is dangerous to put a frozen gel pack in direct contact with your skin. 

Cold therapy should only be used for 20 minutes each time.

TO HEAT:

It is recommended you submerge in hot water for 3-5 minutes. 

Can be microwaved for 20 seconds followed by 5-second increments if needed. 

Be careful of hot spots.

SAFETY INFORMATION:

Do not open or puncture the pack, if the pack leaks, dispose of the pack immediately. Do not ingest gel. If gel gets in to contact with eyes or skin, rinse thoroughly with warm water. Do not use on sensory impaired patients. Do not place frozen gel pack directly on skin. Keep out of reach of children.
